Banyu Anget

SUMBER AIR PANAS TIRTO HUSODO - Menikmati Hot Spring Zonder Bau Belerang

Anda sudah pernah mengunjungi sumber air panas atau yang juga populer dengan sebutan hot spring? Nah, Anda tentu tidak asing dengan bau menyengat belerangnya yang khas. Sumber air panas memang identik dengan bau ini. Namun berbeda dengan Sumber Air Panas Tirto Husodo di Pacitan. Sama sekali tidak tercium bau belerang yang bisa mengganggu kenyamanan berendam menikmati airnya yang hangat.
Sumber air panas yang lebih dikenal dengan nama Pemandian Banyu Anget oleh masyarakat sekitar ini terletak sekitar 15 km sebelah utara pusat kota dan relatif mudah dijangkau. Jalanan relatif lebar dan rata sehingga mobil pun akan dengan mudah melewatinya. Meskipun terletak cukup jauh, tempat wisata ini sudah dilengkapi dengan berbagai fasilitas pendukung yang memadai, termasuk tempat parkir yang luas. Dari tempat parkir kita masih harus berjalan mendaki jalan setapak dengan beberapa anak tangga yang diapit pepohonan rindang. Hutan di kaki Gunung Kelir ini masih alami dan terjaga. YogYES bahkan sempat melihat beberapa ekor tupai yang bermain-main dengan asyiknya di atas pohon.
Terdapat 4 buah kolam di pemandian, kolam tempat sumber air panas, 2 kolam renang dewasa, dan kolam renang anak-anak. Ada larangan untuk masuk ataupun menyentuh air di kolam utama karena suhunya cukup panas. Air panas ini disalurkan ke dalam 3 kolam lainnya dan dicampur dengan air dingin agar suhunya sesuai dengan suhu tubuh manusia. Yang menarik, tidak tercium bau belerang sama sekali!
Bau belerang menyengat yang sering muncul di hot spring adalah bau Hidrogen Sulfida yang dihasilkan oleh bakteri anaerob ketika air dipanaskan secara alami di dalam perut bumi. Zat ini kemudian terbawa ke atas permukaan tanah, kecuali dalam beberapa kasus ketika kadar Hidrogen Sulfida yang terbentuk tidak cukup banyak atau ketika zat ini teroksidasi oleh Oxygen sebelum sampai ke permukaan. Pemandian Banyu Anget ini salah satu contohnya. Tidak adanya bau belerang ini tentu saja akan membuat Anda semakin nyaman dalam berendam menikmati hangatnya air yang menenangkan dan bisa melancarkan peredaran darah ini. Benar-benar pas untuk mengakhiri hari setelah sehari penuh surfing atau menyusuri pantai-pantai dan gua di Pacitan.
