Nasi Lodo

NASI LODO - Sensasi Nasi Uduk yang Gurih dan Ayam Panggang Bumbu Santan

Sebelum surfing ataupun bertualang menyusuri pantai dan gua di Pacitan, Anda tentu membutuhkan asupan energi yang memadai. Nasi Lodo menjadi salah satu pilihan. kami memilih sebuah warung bambu berwarna hijau di Jalan WR Supratman untuk mencicipi makanan ini. Sambil duduk menunggu pesanan, kami mencoba menebak seperti apa kira-kira makanan yang dulunya merupakan hidangan khas kenduri di Jawa Timur ini.
Beberapa saat menunggu akhirnya rasa penasaran terjawab juga. Nasi Lodo disajikan bersama lalapan, sambal tomat, urap sayuran dan ayam masak santan di atas piring bambu beralas daun pisang. Di sebuah mangkuk tersaji pula kuah santan dengan cabai merah utuh. Yumm.., tampilannya begitu menggoda selera.
Gurihnya masakan ini langsung terasa sejak gigitan pertama. Ternyata nasi yang disajikan adalah nasi uduk. Menggigit daging ayamnya, terasa ada sesuatu yang berbeda dengan aroma yang khas. Ternyata ayam ini terlebih dahulu dipanggang sebelum kemudian dimasak dalam kuah santan. Yang dipergunakan pun harus ayam kampung. Siram daging ayam ini dengan kuah santan untuk menambah rasa gurihnya. Masakan ini sama sekali tak terasa pedas, karena cabai dimasukkan secara utuh ke dalam kuah. Bila Anda penggemar rasa pedas, Anda tinggal memilih antara menggigit cabai merah utuh ini atau menambahkan sambal tomat. Dilengkapi dengan secangkir teh poci, nasi lodo terasa sangat pas sebagai menu sarapan pagi.
Anda tak perlu khawatir dengan banyaknya santan yang digunakan dalam hidangan ini. Memang santan mengandung lemak nabati jenuh yang dapat meningkatkan kadar Low-Density Lipoproptein (LDL) atau lebih dikenal dengan kolesterol. Namun secangkir teh akan menetralisirnya. Teh telah lama dikenal dengan kandungan antioksidan yang bisa membuat pembuluh darah rileks sehingga terhindar dari pembekuan darah. Antioksidan flavonoid ini bisa mencegah oksidasi yang menyebabkan LDL menumpuk di pembuluh darah. Jadi Anda bisa menikmati nasi lodo lezat ini dengan tenang, tanpa khawatir kadar kolesterol naik.
