PASAR TRIWINDU - Berburu Harta Karun di Surga Barang Antik

Sebagai salah satu pusat kebudayaan Jawa, Solo memiliki banyak harta karun berupa barang-barang pusaka dan antik. Pasar Triwindu (sekarang bernama Pasar Windujenar) adalah salah satu pasar barang antik yang populer di Pulau Jawa. Persis di depan pintu masuk pasar, Anda akan disambut oleh patung laki-laki dan perempuan Jawa sedang duduk bersila di atas panggung batu.

Menyusuri lorong-lorong pasar dengan barang-barang antik yang bertaburan di kanan kirinya, akan membuat kita merasa berada di surga barang antik. Aneka koleksi kain batik, uang dan koin kuno, cap batik, gramofon tua dari Eropa, wayang-wayang yang terlukis di papan kayu tua, sepeda dari tahun 1930an, hingga berbagai benda yang diklaim sebagai fosil makhluk purba dari Sangiran bisa ditemukan disini. Tidak ketinggalan pula lukisan-lukisan tua, lampu minyak, patung-patung Budha, hingga setrika arang. Tidak hanya itu saja, pasar ini juga akan memberikan kepuasan tersendiri bagi para kolektor dan penggila otomotif karena bisa mendapatkan onderdil langka yang sudah tidak diproduksi lagi.

Tidak semua barang yang dijual di Pasar Triwindu merupakan barang yang benar-benar antik. Sebuah barang yang diklaim penjualnya berusia ratusan tahun mungkin saja baru dibuat beberapa minggu lalu. Namun jika beruntung, Anda bisa mendapatkan pusaka yang dulunya adalah milik kraton. Berbagai spekulasi berkembang mengenai keberadaan benda-benda milik kraton di pasar ini. Namun pihak kraton mengatakan bahwa benda-benda itu kemungkinan adalah benda yang dihadiahkan pada abdi dalem dan kemudian dijual, atau didapatkan oleh orang yang membeli dari kerabat kraton. Berbelanja di Pasar Triwindu sungguh membutuhkah ketelitian dan keahlian tawar-menawar, jadi jangan ragu untuk menawar setengah harga.

Sampai sekarang, Pasar Windujenar masih melayani sistem barter. Anda bisa menukar koleksi dengan barang antik yang lain, tentu saja dengan negosiasi dan kesepakatan tentang nilai barang yang ingin dibarter. Jika Anda wisatawan yang ingin membeli oleh-oleh, ataupun sekedar ingin menikmati suasana kota Solo yang sesungguhnya, Pasar Windujenar layak menjadi pilihan.
