Nasi Liwet Wongso Lemu

NASI LIWET WONGSO LEMU - Sensasi Gurihnya Nasi dengan Bumbu Areh dalam Pincuk Daun Pisang

Jika Anda bertanya apa makanan Solo yang paling khas, maka kebanyakan orang tentu menjawab nasi liwet. Tidak lengkap rasanya berkunjung ke Solo tanpa mencicipi nikmatnya hidangan tradisional ini. Nasi liwet Wongso Lemu di Jalan Teuku Umar adalah penjual Nasi Liwet Solo yang paling populer.
Meluncur ke arah selatan dari depan Pura Mangkunegaran, jalan searah yang tidak terlalu lebar ini selalu penuh dengan mobil-mobil menunggu majikannya yang tengah asyik menyantap nasi liwet. Malam itu, YogYES memilih duduk di atas dampar atau bangku kayu panjang tepat di depan seorang wanita setengah baya yang sibuk meracik nasi liwet. Dalam balutan kebaya dan kain tradisional, dia tetap ramah meski sibuk melayani para pembeli. Tangannya terampil menata nasi dalam pincuk daun pisang, kemudian menambahkan sayur labu siam pedas, suwiran ayam kampung yang dimasak pindang, telur ayam pindang, jerohan ayam, irisan tahu kuning, dan tidak lupa bumbu spesial nasi liwet yaitu areh.
Wah, lidah rasanya sudah tidak sabar ingin segera melahapnya ketika menerima satu pincuk nasi liwet komplit ini. Nasinya yang hangat terasa pulen dan gurih karena sebelum dimasak dalam kukusan, beras dimasak setengah matang terlebih dahulu dengan santan. Berpadu dengan rasa manis dan pedas dari sayur labu siam, menghasilkan kombinasi rasa yang sangat luar biasa. Ditambah lagi lezatnya suwiran ayam pindang, jerohan ayam dan juga telur pindang. Areh (sari santan kental) yang dibubuhkan diatasnya adalah kunci utama yang memberikan kelezatan khas nasi liwet. Cara penyajian yang menggunakan pincuk daun pisang juga memberi aroma khas. Tak ketinggalan segelas wedang ronde yang akan menghangatkan malam Anda.
Sekelompok wanita berkebaya duduk sambil melantunkan tembang-tembang jawa ditemani iringin petikan sitar, menambah kenikmatan santap malam Anda. Bagi yang kurang menyukai rasa pedas, masih di ruas jalan yang sama juga terdapat warung yang menyediakan nasi liwet dengan rasa gurih.
